About the Practitioner

My work is grounded in a truth many therapeutic models overlook:
what we carry in our bodies is not only individual—it is relational, ancestral, and shaped by history.

I am an Indigenous CHamoru Somatic Reclamation Master Practitioner and Licensed Professional Counselor. For over a decade, I have worked with adults impacted by trauma, intergenerational wounding, caregiving burden, and relational rupture—particularly where insight alone has not been enough to create change.

I work with the body as a site of memory, intelligence, and liberation. Through sensation, image, posture, breath, and relational presence, I support the nervous system in completing responses that were once interrupted—by trauma, attachment disruption, cultural erasure, or the long labor of survival. Symptoms are approached not as pathology, but as intelligent adaptations shaped by both personal experience and collective conditions.

While this work is often experienced one-to-one, I do not treat the individual as isolated. Each person arrives with a field—ancestral histories, relational patterns, and inherited survival strategies that live in the body. Healing, in this sense, is not only personal; it is relational and intergenerational.

A core thread of my work is internal liberation—the reclamation of agency, choice, and embodied sovereignty from internalized oppression. This is not a cognitive exercise. Liberation is something the body must experience. My role is to create a space where the body is listened to with respect, where protective strategies are honored for their wisdom, and where new possibilities can emerge without force.
